Sam Raimi said long ago that if Evil Dead were to be redone that it would take on a more gory, supernatural bent. Well, now it seems that it has come to fruition. In recent interviews Raimi has stated that Evil Dead is not a remake, but a reimaging of the classic that saw Ash (Bruce Campbell) battle evil forces in the woods. Click below to see the trailer.
